I'm not entirely convinced. Shortened season is real x-factor. We'll have to wait and see, but easier to say they'll be bad than good. |

yes it is an x-factor for everyone.
High draft picks are always more useful over the long-term. But running a team is about succeeding both in the short-term and the long-term. Seems to me, the Canadiens intend on trying to do both. |

Guys like Gionta, Cole, Bourque, Pacs, Moen, Price have not played since last April, I don't expect much and let's be honest...the team hasn't improved since last year skill wise, the D still sucks, guys who had career years (Cole/Pacs) will have a hard time repeating. This would be a GREAT year to suck and grab another top 5 pick. |
